Committees

• Finance:

  Chaired by the ASU Treasurer, the finance committee manages all of the budget activities submitted by the Executive Council and clubs on campus. It is also responsible for keeping the budget accounts clear and well organized.

  Lobbying:

  Chaired by the ASU Commissioner of Political Affairs, the Lobby committee consists of two members of the ASU Executive Council and four other individuals that represent LAVC at regional, state and national lobbying events. Its goal is to inform, enable and empower students to become knowledgable about legislation that directly affects them Politically-oriented events, lobbying trips, and information sessions increasing student advocacy.

  Fundraising:

  The fundraising committee collects all the money from any sales that the active clubs on campus have during club days. This committee also help establish new fundraising activities to help increase the budget for the following year's Associated Student Union.

  Judiciary:

  Elections:

  The elections committee oversees the planning and logistics of the ASU Spring Elections.
